Day 1: Hue to Aluoi to Khe Sanh
We begin the tour following highway 49 up to the top of Ma Oi pass where we stop for swimming at Mau waterfall and see the handicraft sewing of the Van Kieu ethnic minority.
Lunch takes place at Aluoi town and we then spend the whole afternoon on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, a legendary road in the war time.
This scenic route is a spectacular ride and takes us off road through the mountains, stopping to visit some ethnic minority villages that live along Ho Chi Minh Trail.

DAY 2: KHE SANH TO DMZ to hue
On the ride to Hue is most from West to East we will ride along Highway 9.  On this drive we’ll pass famous Vietnamese war sites like Dakrong bridge, Rock Pile and the Doc Mieu base.
After we cross the former DMZ (Demilitarised Zone )we’ll arrive at the Vinh Moc tunnel underground to survive during the war.
We stop for lunch at Cua tung beach where you can cool off with a swim, before driving along the coastline country side with rice field , farms and stop in small Village for you meet local people to arrive in Hue

Meals – We don’t include your meals so that you have the freedom to eat anything you choose. Your guides will recommend restaurants & local dishes to try and if you have any special meal requirements they will do their best to cater to them. The guides will eat with you and split the bill. For basic local food you can budget approx ($8) per person a day (plus alcohol)
